The people behind Kaka All-You-Can-Eat has opened Teara Lab Sandwiches, a Japanese-fusion sandwich shop on College.
First conceived as a dessert-only restaurant, Teara Lab quickly became all about the sandwiches! Focused on creating Japanese flavours, the sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients and include Tonkatsu Pork, and Chicken Teriyaki burger. With everything, but the bread is made in-house, all the of the sandwiches have a unique balance of Asian and Western flavours.
With it’s proximity to University of Toronto it comes as no surprise that Teara Lab will be offering combos, which include a side of Joey’s famous fries, and a drink. They offer take-out for students on the go and also have seating for anyone who has the time to take a leisurely lunch.
Teara Lab Sandwiches will continue to develop their menu, and hope to offer different types of bread, as well as some seasonal options. They are open seven days a week.
