Flock Rotisserie
A new comer to the roast chicken scene in the city, Flock offers a take-home option for your roast chicken dinner. The roasted chicken dinner is a la carte, allowing you to choose the size of the bird and sides. Flock only uses organic birds raised without any hormones or antibiotics, and the chickens are always on rotation in the Entertainment District restaurant, roasting about 120 birds a day. The chicken is house cured in a top-secret mix of seasonings for 24 hours to allow maximum flavour. When it comes to sides, Flock’s got you covered with baked cauliflower mixed with celery root and chickpeas, or you can choose the rotisserie roasted Brussel sprouts and beets with crispy onions. And, don’t forget to eat your veggies! Flock offers four types of salads, in two sizes full and half.
Cafe Boulud
The new Cafe Boulud didn't just get a makeover last fall, the menu now has a rotisserie section! Using a Rotisol, made in the largest and oldest rotisserie factory in France, chicken, lamb, lobster, potatoes and pineapple are roasted over the open flames. Served family style the roasted chicken or poulet a la broche is cooked to perfection. The extra crispy skin and tender chicken breast makes this one of the best rotisserie options in the city. The whole roasted chicken comes with two sides.
Sanagan's Meat Locker
Another take-home option, Sanagan's offers rotisserie chickens daily. Located behind the sandwich bar, the rotisserie showcases Sanagan's free range and grain-fed chicken. You can order a whole, half or quarter chicken to-go! The half chicken and quarter chicken options are available in combos with options of fries, and soup and salad as sides.
BPC
For Portuguese-style chicken look no further than BPC, or Best Portuguese Chicken in Etobicoke. The take-home roasted chicken is available in whole and half sizes and come with sides like Parisian potatoes, rice pilaf, seasonal vegetables or salad. The Churrasqueira chickens are roasted over open flames giving them a super crisp skin on the outside and a juicy and tender inside. It is recommended you order your roasted chicken dinner at least an hour before you pick it up.
